Recommendations per ANSI and the Manufacture(s) guidelines mandate your equipment is calibrated annually, UNLESS transducers have been changed/replaced - which means your equipment should be calibrated immediately.


The short answer is No - The calibration is based on the transducer (the speakers/bone osc. assembly) but if you are experiencing intermittency, it could be related to your sound booth connections or your transducer itself.  It is best to schedule a service call with a technician to have a full investigation on the issue.  Keep in mind some tranducers require special tools to remove connections!
